Alegre Ruby Port - Made by the well respected Quinta do Portal in the heart of the Douro. A mouthful of flavour and the best value ruby port money can buy, (well according to all of our staff who have tasted it!)

This wine is a blend of wines from different vintages. Their ageing was done in large capacity "balseiros" and "toneis" in order to restrain the evolution of their deep red colour and maintain the fruit and strength of a young wine.

The Tawny is obtained from lots of wines that have aged for different lengths of time in "pipas" or small "toneis". It has a slightly ambar colour and in the aroma we start noting some dried fruits. Should be served slightly chilled.

This Fine Ruby port has a bouquet that is fruity and full, and in the glass, it shows its deep ruby colour. The taste is smooth and satisfying, with an average age of three years and this Fine Ruby represents very good value in terms of quality and price.

Graham’s Malvedos Vintage Ports admirably show the Graham’s house style with their expressive floral characteristics, opulent black berry fruit flavours and racy flair. They are usually more approachable when young than classic Vintage Ports and therefore make an excellent alternative to the latter – while one waits for these to fully mature.
