La Petite Ferme, Maison Rouge

A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Shiraz with a touch of Malbec which produces a medium bodied red that is tremendously food friendly. The Cabernet component still drives the wine with rich, dark berry fruit flavours and coffee~chocolate characteristics. While the Shiraz adds a hint of spice and deep, earthy notes and the Malbec compliments the palate with a smooth raspberry finish.

These house wines from La Petite Ferme are imported exclusively for Charles Steevenson Wines, in fact we are the only people outside of South Africa to sell their house wines, Maison Blanc and Maison Rouge. The restaurant attached to the vineyard is world renowned and highly respected, and these two wines are their own house wines made to compliment their food.
