History: In 1903 Dominic Scotto moved his family to America from the Italian island of Ischia, in the Bay of Naples. While working as a ship's caulker, Dominic continued the family tradition of making wine and passing these skills to the next generation. Today his great grandson Anthony is the fifth generation winemaker at Scotto Family Wines, where the varietally expressive wines reflect California's unique terroir./p>
