Quinta do Portal is situated high up overlooking the Douro valley and has been managed for generations by expert wine makers and vineyard proprietors. Portal's Late Bottle Vintage is wine from one single year but bottled 'late', not after two years in cask (as is the case with classic vintage port), but after resting four years in cask. This delivers amazing concentration, a touch of spice and yet not too spirity... delicious!
