Il Bacio Negroamaro, Paolo Leo
In the southeastern extremity of Puglia, one of Italy’s southernmost regions, lies the Peninsula known as Salento, which divides the Adriatic Sea from the Ionian Sea. One of the most important agricultural areas in all of Italy, this beatuful region is blessed with remarkable landscapes, blue skies and a dream-like coastline and crystal-clear water. Vineyards have always played an important role in this beautiful and fertile land, where the harsh sun is tempered by the cooling sea breezes. From this land comes IL BACIO.
With a state of the art winery and a true dedication to quality and tradition enables Feudo Paolo Leo to bring IL BACIO to you, a range of wines reflecting a deep heritage but also respecting today’s modern day wine enthusiast. Like the memories of your first kiss, IL BACIO wines are subtle but hard to be forgotten. 25% of the wine in American oak barriques for 12 months. The remaining wine remains in stainless steel. The wine is deep ruby red in colour with attractive fruit and licorice aromas. Dark red fruit, coffee and spice flavors on the palate lead to an intense and earthy finish with bright berry flavors. Il Bacio Negroamaro is ideal with a variety of foods, from pizza to pasta, roasted meats and strong cheeses.
