We have now prepared the En Primeur list for 2011 which we feel is one of the best that has been released. The range of wines available is more extensive than we have been able to offer in the past, so we feel confident that there will be something for everyone whether you are looking to lay down a special purchase as an investment for later years, or just to purchase wine to enjoy from a very decent vintage and at a very special price.

Pauillac: Château Haut Batailley, £350 per dozen In Bond 5ème Cru Classé, 78% CS, 22% M

Also owned by Xavier Borie of Ch. Grand Puy Lacoste, this is more Saint Julien in style; soft, ripe fruit, silky tannins and sweetness on the finish. A great success. Drink 2018-2028

Vieux Château Gaubert £116 per dozen In Bond

Graves rouge, 50% CS, 50% M Dominique Haverlan has made a round, fleshy wine with a dash of toasty oak on his fine estate at Portets in the heart of the Graves. Rich and succulent with lovely mixture of blackberry fruit and toasty oak. Drink 2017-2022
