Bruce has been an integral part of business development over the last 24 months. Helping drive change and pushing the business into the dynamic place it is now. Demanding a lot from his team, he ensures we as a business deliver on our promises.
We are trying to educate Bruce in wine, but still feel a pint of Guinness sits happier in his hand. When not with us, Bruce normally has a rugby ball in one hand and a child in another!
Charles has been the driving force of the South West Wine Trade for over 30 years. Before he established Charles Steevenson Wines back in 1987 he had a career in Hotel Management that has shaped his work ethic ever since. Few people in the wine industry know more or convey it with more enthusiasm and passion than Charles. With his undiminished enthusiasm he can always be relied upon to understand and anticipate his customers' needs and enjoys longstanding working relationships stretching from West Devon down to Cornwall.
When not with a bottle in hand, Charles is normally sailing in Plymouth Sound.
Mike is everywhere, we try and slow him down but it's not easy. If this was a one man show, then Mike would be the man. He runs the operations, creates the computer packages, writes the wine list, answers the phone. Maybe a history in Hotel Management did this to him, but the man does not sleep!
When he's not at work you'll find him up on the moors walking his dogs or down at the coast discovering new paths. And come the festival season, he's off in his van to let his hair down!
James has been selling wine for Steevenson Wines for as long as we can remember and still has boundless enthusiasm for the role. He delivers incredible service and customers frequently comment on his care and attention. Although James has a brilliant wine knowledge his real passion are spirits - don't ask him about gin unless you have a lot of time to spare. Covering an extensive sales area from North Devon up to Dorchester and Somerset, he is always on the go.
Away from work....we refer you back to his gin passion!
Inspired by a fascinating visit to the vineyards of Chile, Joe has spent the last decade working in the wine industry. He has visited vineyards all over the world and completed his WSET Diploma, acquiring huge amounts of passion, knowledge and experience for all things wine along the way. He is busy acquainting himself with the hostelries and restaurants of his new sales area covering Somerset, Wiltshire and Bristol.
When not at work Joe can normally be found swimming in the sea, playing football with his son or dreaming of bottles of Burgundy that he can't afford.

Away from work...well, when is he not working?
Steve has been here from the beginning and remains Charles's right hand man. Always first in to the office, he plays a fundamental role in our wine selection as well as ensuring the right wines go out at the right time. Renowned for his palette, what he doesn't know about wine isn't worth knowing!
Away from the warehouse Steve runs, cycles and swims. In quieter moments you'll find him indulging his passion for cricket or walking his Jack Russell's.
